Laura Adel holds a master’s degree in New Media Art from Academy of Fine Art in Wroclaw. She graduated as a bachelor from Graphic Design department in Gdansk, Poland. Due to Erasmus exchange she also studied at Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Hague, Netherlands. For her artistic achievements she was awarded with a Rector’s Scholarship for the Best Students. Her art reflects what she sees.
She managed video production in London in 2016. Next year she worked as a Art Director Assistant in movie industry in Berlin. Next year she moved to post-production working on the animation movie River. For her work she got a accreditation as a Post-production Assistant. The premiere took place in Berlin on May, 2019.
In 2017 she was a laureate of International Competition Intercultural Visual Form #2 with her movie Not from Here. She was a laureate of nationwide competition Reactions.In 2018 her abstract movie was exhibited in Centre of Contemporary Art Laznia in Gdansk. Her movie Combustion was selected for International Festival Abstract in Motion Punto y Raya. In 2019 she was a finalist of Nationwide Competition Animation Now.
As a great fan of music she combined this passion with her artistic approach. She created visualisations for Nationwide Festiwal High Temperature and Festival of New Music, both in Wroclaw. As a VJ she created visuals for Emmy-winners band Spirit Fingers during International Beat and Bass Festival. She was selected to participate in MediaLab VJ Showcase, in Center for Audiovisual Technologies in Wroclaw.
Her intaglio works are part of permanent exhibition in Made in Wroclaw Gallery. Those prints took part in many group exhibitions for example international ‘we - the women’ Individual exhibition of her intaglio works took place in 2018. Her prints were also selected for the Nationwide Exhibition Mixtures of Cultures.
